ABOUT RED INDIAN'S EDGE
EditThe buoy is in a small creek in the middle of the western side of S. Fruttuoso’s bay. The site owes its name to the hanging cliff which truly portrays a native American’s profile. A good familiarity with the descend in the blue and limited consumptions of air is well recommended due to the important depths and the position of the buoy, a bit far from the wall to be visited.Less experienced divers can visit the top of the wall and go around the several rocks sited in a 15 m deep bottom. The dive covers a wonderful wall among -25 and -48 m, surmounted by a Posidonia's plateau. Red coral and sea-fans, morays, scorpion fishes, congers and lobsters are its common inhabitants.
