ABOUT THE CHRIST OF THE ABYSS
EditThe site gets its name from a lion-head-shaped rock at the western limit of the small creek. The dive presents in its deepest part a vertical wall , literally covered by big branches of red coral. We encounter two caves: the first one, small, lies at -25 m, while the second one is a deep roof at a depth of 8 m in which a freshwater spring flows out from the rocks, causing the characteristic trembling effect due to the different density of two liquids.
