This dive site is located in the northeast side of Eksdhoo island, at the east end of the Shaviyani Atoll. There are many beautiful table corals and staghorn corals form the top of the reef starting at 5m going down to around 30 m. Keep an eye in the overhangs of the wall where you might encounter nurse sharks.
You can enter the water upstream in the current and then avoid being carried away when the current is strong.
Start your dive at the split point of the current and choose the eastern side, which will be more interesting.
This dive site is accessible for beginners and does not present any specific difficulty. You can dive at Ekasdhoo all year long regardless of the seasons.
Staying far from the reef while ascending will facilitate the recovery by the dhoni.
The very fragile staghorn corals you will find over there require that you pay very good attention while moving around in order to reduce the risk of damage.
