Located northeast of the atoll at the entry of the second channel, this dive site’s unique characteristic is that the reef is made of seven blocks, from one side of the channel to the other. During incoming currents, most of the big fish can be found on the ocean side, but the other side of the formation also host many reef species.
The water entry can be done on the northeast or southeast side of the channel, but divers can also enter in the middle of the formation.
Divers can take advantage of the current to drift along the channel or slalom between the coral blocks. Crossing from one block to another may be difficult when the current is strong.
This site is accessible for divers with experience at 20-30 meters depths, and should observe the diving site prior to diving. The currents can be strong in some parts even if there are many refuge areas. The site is particularly interesting during the northeast monsoon.
