Pristine warm turquoise waters, colourful reefs with abundant and diverse marine life and a huge variety of dive sites are just some of the reasons why the Maldives are one of the most desirable dive destinations in the world, high on every diver’s bucket list. Add to this the idyllic, postcard-perfect white sand beaches and the high-standard facilities founded throughout the archipelago and you a have a quick glimpse of why non-divers also dream of spending their holidays on this exclusive destination. This archipelago in the Indian Ocean has nearly 1 200 gorgeous islands, of which around only 300 are inhabited. However, underwater is where the real thrill is: close encounters with big, majestic pelagic like whale sharks or hammerheads and with the largest population of reef manta rays take place on a customary basis. The nutrient-rich waters originated by the often present currents feed a vast range of fish, corals, sponges, gorgonians and other marine species. To top it up, the visibility is amazing all year round! Learn more about diving in the Maldives.
A liveaboard on the luxurious Blue Force One is the best way to ensure you make the most out of your holidays in the Maldives in a stylish, comfortable and safe way and turn them into a truly memorable experience. This boat is amongst the top vessels operating in the Maldives and there is a reason why it was awarded the “Best Built Liveaboard 2014” by the Maldives Liveaboard Association: it was custom-built having in mind all the needs of both divers and non-divers. This means that divers can explore one of the world’s top diving destinations under superb conditions while their non-diver travel partners relax by indulging in the multiple entertainment options available onboard.
With a length of 42 metres, Blue Force One is undoubtedly spacious but, as an exclusive boat, it caters to a maximum of only 22 guests, accommodated in 11 fabulous cabins: seven wide double cabins, one junior suite, one master cabin and two master suites, all charmingly decorated, with en-suite full bathrooms, AC, TV and WI-FI. This luxury boat’s entertainment options include two hot tubs, three sun decks with sunbeds and mattresses, a bar on the upper deck with a refined drink selection, a living room with massage armchairs and TV and even its own disco room! Guests who enjoy aquatic activities other than diving are welcome to use the stand-up-paddleboards, surf boards and kayaks available. A gourmet menu has been carefully designed and all the meals prepared by the chef are served buffet style, so there are always plenty of delicious options available. An attentive crew will look after your needs the whole time to ensure your holidays are as smooth and enjoyable as you could possibly wish for.
Blue Force One cruises the best dive routes in the Maldives and its professional team of dive instructors is one of the most experienced in the archipelago. They know Maldivian waters as the back of their hand and are passionate about guiding divers around the best dive sites and even uncovering some hidden gems, should the time of the year allow it – those mind-blowing unexplored dive sites you will want to share with your friends when you get home! They know exactly what marine life can be found in each location and will get out of their way to ensure you get to experience unforgettable encounters with the big pelagic the Maldives are famous for: manta rays, hammerheads and whale sharks. Other common sights are turtles, eagle rays, black-tip sharks, nurse sharks, groupers, an array of colourful reef fish and much more!
The dive sites are approached by a “Dhoni” – an 18 metres auxiliary Maldivian dive boat - where tanks are filled and dive gear is kept. This makes it easier to access dive spots where coral reefs are close to the surface, makes divers’ pick up a lot more comfortable and ensures that aboard Blue Force One the atmosphere is always peaceful and quiet (no tank filling noise!), avoiding equipment humidity related issues at the same time. The boat is rebreather friendly, can provide SORB (sofnolime) and carries medical oxygen (100%) on board. 12 and 15 liters aluminium tanks are available. All this makes Blue Force One the #1 choice of the most sophisticated divers. Join this exclusive group and explore the Maldives through an unforgettable trip that combines adventure and luxury like no other!

I been in october and made the Central Maldives route with Blue Force One. My first liveaboard experience and I have been more than satisfied. I might be back soon! The boat was really luxury, great comfort, amazing food and the staff very funny, helpful and really professional. Diving from the liveaboard, with 3 dives a day, it makes your holiday very focus on diving and relaxing between the dives. And first time for me in Maldives as well and believe me every dives were amazing! Whales shark, manta rays, huge nurse sharks and many other incredible species. I really recommend the Blue Force team and the boat might be simply among the best one could find in Maldives. Thanks for all. Hope to see you soon!
